Retail Therapy - Handbag

I have been on the hunt for a new handbag for a few weeks now, since I realised just how ripped and torn and tatty my green Kate Hill bag had become. I really wanted a bag from Fossil, because I love the range of colours, but when I went there on Thursday last week I just couldn't find anything that appealed to me (what is with padlocks on everything these days?) So I decided to drive up to the hills on Friday and visit a little shop I only discovered on the Queen's Birthday weekend this year. I was in luck.

This is the bag I coveted when I first went in there that weekend in June. I decided I could live without it and moved on. Turns out I couldn't live without it, from both a necessity and a style perspective. It's gorgeous, soft leather in a beautiful dusty pink colour and I love it.

Best part? Only $115.

The shop I got it from is called Hob Nob and it's in Sassafrass up in the Dandenond Ranges. No website, unfortunately, so you'll just have to go up there and check it out for your self! It's just up a bit from Miss Marples on the other side of the road. They have a huge range of jewellry, bags, boots and shoes, scarves, gloves and clothing. It's definitely worth checking out - the prices are reasonable and the items are one of a kind. Pin It

Gorgeous bag! It's just a little bit different, and the colour is beautiful x

Aelie, yeah, I wanted something that wasn't heavily branded, as it's not really my style, and something that's not very common. It's lovely!

I.... am so envious. I own NOT A SINGLE LOVELY BIG HANDBAG. I still take around my ugly brown tiny "slash-proof" bag (handbag is a term it doesn't deserve) bought years ago for international travels.... will you do my retail therapy for me? :D

Hannah, I only use the one handbag for work and casual, so I always try to choose something pretty!

Try looking on endless.com or overstock.com for some nice stuff - you'll find many things that appeal to you, I'm sure!

That bag is gorgeous. I love, love the wide straps, and the colour. So nice to see something a bit different. I think I'll have to make a trip up to Sassafras myself soon.

Kiki, yes, I'm SO particular about the straps on my bag. They can't be so short I can barely get the bag over my shoulder, or so thin they'll cut into me. This was the perfect fit!

You'll love that shop - so many nice things!

Thanks Laura! The colour is definitely what grabbed me - not too bright, not too dull.

I'm the kind of person who uses the same handbag day in day out, it's terrible! I love that pink and what a bargain!

riotersbloc, I know, it's just so much easier to have the one bag all the time. Unless I'm going out out and I need a clutch, I stick to the one bag.

Thanks for reading!
