Friday Night Drinks

I remembered I had an unopened bottle of peach vodka in the cupboard, so I thought last night would be perfect for a cocktail.

Some quick Googling turned up a few recipes, but this one seemed the easiest and required the least amount of effort.

Pavlova Peach Cocktail
1 1/2 oz Peach Vodka
2 oz cranberry juice
2 oz orange juice
1 oz lemonade (Sprite)
Garnish with a slice of peach or orange

So I whipped one up, cooked some burgers and listened to some oldies on the radio. It was perfect.

You know, I'm not really into cocktails but this sounds fruity and lovely!

Hannah, it was perfect! You can mostly taste the orange juice and the dash of Sprite, with a nice peach undertone.

I hate it when cocktail recipes call for sugar syrup, easy to make but just one more hurdle between you and your cocktail!

Melanie, me too! That's why I chose this easy one. I knew I had the vodka, all I had to buy was the orange juice, cranberry juice and the sprite. So easy!

Oh my god, that sounds AMAZING! I have to go out and buy peach vodka now. I already have 2 full bottles of vodka we never drink, but hey, why not a third? ;)

Kiki, the peach vodka is really nice. If you mix it with the right things, you can't really taste the vodka, just the peachy undertone. So yummy!
